Here I am with my son, Andrew, and my daughter, Alyssa
Books and children have always gone together for me! After being raised locally in Wauconda, Illinois. I got a job at a daycare and realized kids and books are a great match so I decided to become a school librarian. In order to do so, one needs to have a teaching degree so I attended Northern Illinois.
After graduating, I strayed from my library path and got a wonderful job teaching middle school science and later upper elementary in exciting Houston, Texas. After many years in the great state of Texas, I moved back home to be closer to my family.
I have been part of the d300 family working as a gifted facilitator and am really excited to be back in the classroom. This is my fifth year back in the regular classroom and I am thrilled to be back in fifth grade.
